الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن ارحموا اهل الارض يرحمكم من في السماء
Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by The Merciful. Be merciful to those on the Earth and The One above the heavens will have mercy upon you.
A sahih hadith of the Prophet sAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam, Tirmidhi.
Rahma, mercy. Is a foundation of Islam. Be merciful to your parents, your friends, family, strangers even your body and your environment. Interactions with others should be fuelled by rahma. Being patient, forgiving, not too harsh..
Deen is mannerism. The life and the sunnah of our beloved Prophet sAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam is a rahma for us, the Qur’an is a rahma and the worship of Allah swtis a rahma because Allah doesn’t need our prayers, but we need Him.
Rahma is a key to the heart and a lack of Rahma is a sure predictor of an unhappy living. A living where our hearts become hardened and our souls become selfish and bitter. Remembering Allah alone is also a rahma because if our lives become void of His remembrance they will be void of His blessings.
May Allah swt guide us and give us the strength so that we may become more merciful to others and may Allah swt shade us with His mercy on the day where there is no shade but His.
Juma Mubaraka lovely people 🙂
